The Northeast Texas Community College (NTCC) Board of Trustees held its regular November meeting on Tuesday, Nov. 25th. All action items on the agenda were approved.
Living with diabetes means juggling blood sugar checks, medications, meals, and appointments. With so much to manage, feet don’t always make the list — but they should be at the top. Diabetes profoundly affects foot health, and small, simple habits each day are essential in preventing serious complications.
Tooters Music was founded 10 years ago in Hughes Springs by Jim Sinkule, who had worked for Tatum Music for 50 years. Sinkule named the store Tooters, a nickname he earned for his work repairing brass instruments for school bands.
Over the next seven weeks we will be talking to local students about holiday wishes. This first week we asked Pittsburg High School students this question - “If money was not an issue, what would you do to help others this holiday season?” Here are five responses Guadalupe Rodman, Sophomore, Daingerfield High School said, “I would take my mom and family to Germany. Cause we have always wanted to go and it would be lots of fun.”
