ADAMS

Joyce Adams, 87, who lived in Hughes Springs most of her life and knew everyone, to their delight or exasperation, died Feb. 6. Her children, Regina and Bill (Bozie), her brother Ronny and her niece, Marya, and all her friends will miss her. Joyce was born July 21, 1932 in Greenville, and lived in many parts of the USA and overseas. In Hughes Springs, she was devoted to her flowers and her pets, and her yard was a common gathering place for conversations with neighbors. Her life was sometimes hard, but she overcame these difficulties, and lived and died her own way, taking care of her numerous cats and her dog Pepe. She was loved by us and she loved us. May she rest in peace.
