Charles Aaron Martin was born February 8, 1998 in Longview, Texas. He left this world on November 14, 2023. He was a graduate of Hughes Springs High School – class of 2016. Aaron loved his family and friends very much. He enjoyed living life, and liked to spend his time fishing, hunting, riding and racing his dirt bike, being with his friends and family or riding a backroad. The light of his life was his son, Alex. He was his greatest joy.

Horace Jones was born May 26, 1944 in Hughes Springs to Byron and Beulah Jones. He passed away at his home on November 5th, 2023, surrounded by his family and close friends. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, November 9, 2023 at Cross Roads Missionary Baptist Church. Burial with Military Honors will immediately follow at Sardis Cemetery, under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Hughes Springs. Mr. Jones will lie in state from 1pm to 5pm Wednesday at the funeral home. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the church on Thursday. Dr. Daniel Mc-Guire and Bro. Jeremy Goodson will be officiating.

Philip Gary Weber of Daingerfield, Texas went to be with his Lord and Savior, Monday morning, November 6, 2023, in Daingerfield. Gary, as he was known to all, was born November 29, 1939, to Philip Lawrence Weber and Maud Curtis Winingham Weber in Elk City, OK.
