The Agriculture and Continuing Education departments will host a series of Backyard Farm Life classes this spring. The courses are designed to be an introduction or refresher for those interested in backyard farming practices. Classes include:
Daingerfield High School and Hughes Springs High School each took lifters to the Maud Invitational Powerlifting Meet Jan. 14. Hughes Springs girls finished third with four lifters, while the Daingerfield girls finished fifth with just two lifters.
The 2021 high school powerlifting season is underway, and Daingerfield’s lifters participated in their first meet Jan. 7. The meet was hosted by Daingerfield, and featured 22 Boys and 15 girls from Daingerfield and New Diana.
The Daingerfield Lady Tigers opened their 15- 3A campaign on the hardwood Dec. 11 with a loss to the White Oak Ladynecks.
