City National Bank of Sulphur Springs announces agreement to acquire Morris County National Bank
Sulphur Springs Bancshares, Inc., a Texas corporation and registered bank holding company with its principal offices in Sulphur Springs, Texas (“SSBI”), The City National Bank of Sulphur Springs, a national banking association and wholly-owned subsidiary of SSBI (“CNB”), Morris County Bankshares Inc., a Texas corporation and registered bank holding company with its principal offices in Naples, Texas (“MCBI”), and The Morris County National Bank of Naples, a national banking association and wholly-owned subsidiary of MCBI (“MCNB”) announced Sept. 30 the signing of a definitive agreement.
Educational Foundation still working to assist D-LS ISD
Despite changes brought on by the current pandemic, the Daingerfield-Lone Star Education Foundation is still working to assist students and teachers in Daingerfield-Lone Star ISD.

So, last week was a good week. I got a new human, and she brought me treats. I got a new ball, and more new things to knock off of her desk. She likes to talk to me, but wasn’t too keen on sharing her tuna with me!
Hot Air Balloons
Recently, I was settling in for my daughter’s softball tournament in Longview when I noticed several hot air balloons headed towards the ballpark. As a wannabe photographer, I grabbed my camera and couple friends and headed to where two of them were landing. Besides several awesome photos (if I do say so myself !), watching those hot air balloons gave me what I would like to think of as life lessons.
