(StatePoint) 2020 has thrown us all a lot of curveballs, so it’s no surprise that the concept of self-care is getting a lot of traction in many health and wellness circles. The Northeast Texas Community College Foundation recently received a $10,500 gift from International Sulphur, Inc. The funds will provide seven $1,500 scholarships to NTCC graduates transferring to a university to continue their studies. Since 2000, International Sulphur has given more than $115,000 for NTCC scholarships. This year they doubled their contribution to provide even more money to more students. Recent recipients of the scholarship include: Blake Denson, Jada Fisher, Victor Gonzalez, Tonya Hammonds, Dioseny Mejia and Christopher Perry (spring 2020 NTCC graduates).
