The search for NTCC’s next president has begun

Northeast Texas Community College (NTCC) is excited to announce that it has begun the search for its next president. The new leader will provide visionary leadership to advance the college’s mission and strategic goals. Reporting directly to the Board of Trustees, the president will oversee all academic and administrative areas. Candidates should hold a doctoral degree and have at least five years of senior executive experience, preferably in a community college setting.

Work4College application open for summer 2025

The Work4College Application is officially OPEN for the Summer of 2025! The Work4College Program is a great way to attend NTCC without acquiring debt and experience hands-on learning by working in a department on campus. The application is available to fill out and submit online at www.Work4College. com. The deadline to apply is April 11, 2025. In the Work4College Program, students may work in a variety of roles, including:• Assisting on the college farm Painting classrooms and dorm rooms • Campus maintenance (mowing, gardening, etc.) • Helping Student Services (giving tours, recruiting, assisting with financial aid, etc.) Compensation: Hourly Rate: $15 per hour Work up to 15 hours per week for 10 weeks $7.50/hour as spending money $7.50/hour applied toward their tuition and fees Eligibility: Students must have completed their sophomore year of high school by Summer 2025 to apply. But as I passed a man sitting quietly on the curb, I forgot my own discomfort.
