On Monday, November 11, Veterans Day was celebrated across the nation– and all over Northeast Texas. In Daingerfield, a special program was hosted by the Morris County Collaborative to honor the veterans in the community.
If you’ve driven the stretch of road between Daingerfield and Lone Star, you’ve likely seen the small and simple shop called Zefster’s. After a successful year and a half, the business was able to open a second location in Daingerfield. The Chamber of Daingerfield held a ribbon cutting for the brand new store on a cloudy and cool Saturday afternoon on November 9.
On November 2, a regular traffic stop in Lone Star turned into an arrest after the driver gave a false name and was found with illegal narcotics inside his vehicle.
NTCC is pleased to announce that the 2024 Scare Affair event was a huge success! The event raised more than $8,500 in ticket sales from 34 engaging booths and games. More than one ton of candy was distributed to the community.
