Daingerfield FFA Competes at the Area Level

On November 16, eight members of the Daingerfield FFA traveled to Marshall to compete in the Area VI FFA Leadership Development Event (LDE) Contest which was held at the Texas State Technical College (TSTC). Leadership Development Events (LDEs) focus on creating situations for FFA members to demonstrate their abilities in public speaking, decision making, communication and their knowledge of agriculture and the FFA organization. Team and individual events are used to reinforce what is taught in agricultural science classes.

Each year, Texas School Business magazine recognizes school districts for their outstanding programs. This year, Pewitt Consolidated ISD was one of 12 districts recognized across the state for their Supporting Educator Excellence Daily (S.E.E.D.) program.
