Every summer, children get heatstroke or die as a result of being left unattended in a hot car, but a Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service passenger safety expert says there are a number of ways to help avoid such a tragedy.
Students attending Hughes Springs Schools will all be eligible for free breakfast and lunch each day during the upcoming school year. The announcement was made after the district learned of new guidance from the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA).
