Shelby Cobra Association of Texas gives $1,000 for NTCC scholarships

The Northeast Texas Community College Foundation recently received a check for $1,000 from the Shelby Cobra Association of Texas. Jeff Sol (left) is pictured presenting the gift to Ron Luellen, Director of NTCC’s Carroll Shelby Automotive Program. The funds will be used to provide scholarships for automotive students at NTCC. The B.U.D.D.Y Organization of Northeast Texas awarded four scholarships at the Daingerfield High School national honor society senior scholarship program On May 10. Deaths of Texans not wearing seat belts spiked 16% in 2020

Despite a drop in the number of traffic crashes throughout the year, 2020 saw a spike in the number of fatalities overall and deaths of people in Texas from not wearing a seat belt. That’s why TxDOT is reminding everyone that buckling up is the best defense in a crash.
