The 2020 installment of the Wildflower Trails Festival would have been the fiftieth anniversary, had it not been cancelled due to COVID-19. The 2021 version was full of events, activities, vendors, and fair food. And, if one judges simply on the size of the crowd, then the 2021 return would be deemed a success.
Students, staff, and faculty at Daingerfield schools will continue to need a mask, at least until May 17, after the board voted during their regular meeting to keep the mask requirement until their next meeting.

Daingerfield’s second annual Spring Fling is set for May 1 in downtown Daingerfield. The Spring Fling event, which began in 2019, is returning after being cancelled last year due to the pandemic.
