Biology department continues research project in Arkansas
Dr. Chris T. McAllister, NTCC Biology, and two NTCC independent study students, Gracie Gray and Stephanie Hernandez traveled to the Ozarks at Clinton, Arkansas, July 14-18, 2025, and continued their novel research on fish parasites. They were joined by Dr. Steve Chordas, III., from Ohio State University, an expert on true bugs (Hemiptera).

City of Daingerfield conducting chlorine maintenance conversion
On Monday, July 28, the City of Daingerfield announced that they will be conducting a free chlorine maintenance conversion in the west side neighborhoods until Wednesday, August 13. The city said water will remain safe to use and drink, though you might notice a temporary change in the taste or odor of the water.
