Last week our students celebrated our homecoming! We had a blast dressing up for spirit week. The school spirit was in full swing too. We ended the week with a great win over Hooks and an awesome homecoming dance afterwards. We had over 130 of our kids come to the dance, and we all had a good time. I would like to take a moment and congratulate our volleyball teams on their seasons. Our girls overcame some adversity this season and for that I am extremely proud of them. I am looking forward to our Lady Tiger basketball season! If you read last week you heard me mention all of the positive changes that are happening at our high school. Well, I want to follow up with the biggest change that I have seen, and that has been voiced to me from our community, faculty, and parents, and that is school pride and school spirit. Our faculty and staff want to create an environment here at Daingerfield High School that is safe, educational, positive, uplifting, and full of school pride and school spirit. As always, stay safe and next week we will be back with some more loving, positive, and uplifting information about our school, students, and community. God bless and go Tigers!

Did you ever have one of those days where everything went right, I mean everything you touched went the way you wanted it to, and it seemed like the sun was shining just a little bit brighter?

Thank you seems like so little

As a nation, we will celebrate Veteran’s Day Thursday, Nov. 11. Schools and communities will hold program in which veterans in attendance will be recognized, and slideshows presented that honor not only those in attendance, but any of those who, at any given time, donned a uniform of the United States Military and served this country.
