The Hughes Springs Mustangs will soon be in unfamiliar territory, as they have already begun the process of replacing longtime Athletic Director and head football coach Chris Edwards. Edwards tendered his resignation, effective Jan. 30, 2023, at the Dec. 12 board meeting, which was unanimously accepted by the board members present.
