It would seem that staying at home and quarantining is working, as Morris County now has two cases of COVID-19 listed as “recovered.” Morris County Judge Doug Reeder announced April 29 that the county now has three active cases along with the two recovered cases.
Morris County residents will have another opportunity
Morris County Judge Doug Reeder was informed May 1 by Department of state Health Services of three more positive COVID-19 cases in the county.
The Daingerfield-Lone Star ISD School Board met in regular session April 20. Though it was the regularly scheduled meeting, the meeting was anything but, as the board meeting was offered via the conference call application ZOOM. One board member “attended” the meeting via the program, and the public had the opportunity to attend, as well.
PTK Catalyst, Phi Theta Kappa’s international convention, was turned into a live virtual streaming event this year. Alpha Mu Chi, Northeast Texas Community College’s chapter of Phi Theta Kappa, was among those recognized at the international level. Awards were given out to recognize the hard work of 1,285 chapters in the United States and ten other nations.
