With the Executive Orders signed by Governor Greg Abbott March 12 regarding the novel coronavirus, local municipalities were given the authority to postpone their May 2 elections. After Gov. Abbott issued his revised Executive Orders March 31, all area municipalities have been ordered to postpone their elections.
