• Jamal Daniels, of Daingerfield, was arrested Feb. 2 by Daingerfield police on a charge of failure to appear on a charge of driving while license invalid with previous convictions.

Text LINDEN - The Cass County Sheriff’s Department has released a current list of most wanted individuals. Anyone with information on any of the following individuals is urged to contact the Cass County Sheriff’s office at 903-756-7511.
Alternatives to Marvin Nichols presented at local meetings
The agenda for last week’s meeting of the Bowie County Commissioners Court included an item for a presentation from a representative of the Sulphur River Basin Authority. That line item was cancelled because the representative was unable to attend because of a health issue in his family.
Chuck and Sarah Johns give NTCC Work4College scholarship
The Northeast Texas Community College Foundation recently received a $1,000 gift from Chuck and Sarah Johns, of Pittsburg. The donation will provide a student from Camp County with a scholarship for NTCC’s Work4College Program this summer. Thanks to an additional grant, the funds will be matched at 100 percent for a total impact of $2,000. The Johns are pictured (right) presenting the gift to Nita May (left), NTCC Director of Development, and Dr. Jonathan McCullough, NTCC Executive Vice President for Advancement.
