The Daingerfield Chamber of Commerce will once again honor the best of the best in the community as they host their annual Chamber Awards Banquet, set for March 7 at Daingerfield High School Auditorium.
The Daingerfield School Board met in regular session Feb. 24. Due to the playoff basketball scheduling, the meeting was held at noon.
The Cass County Appraisal Board met Tuesday to address personnel issues that have persisted since last fall such as compensatory time and hiring a third appraiser.
Larry Rolin Jurek, 64, was sentenced to life in prison on Feb. 13 after a Cass County jury returned a guilty verdict on the felony charge of arson and assessed a $10,000 fine.
