Mr. Marc McDaniel grew up in Daingerfield, Texas where he graduated from the Daingerfield - Lone Star Independent School District in 1969 and earned a football scholarship to Rice University. He graduated from Rice University in Houston in 1974. He earned his master’s degree in Educational Administration from East Texas State University in 1987.
• Jeremy Lamont Byrd, of Naples, was arrested July 5 by Naples police for failure to maintain financial responsibility and no driver’s license (when unlicensed).
Steve and Weida Borkowski recently presented the Northeast Texas Community College Foundation with a $1,000 scholarship. The funds will provide a Work4College scholarship to support Lynda Cruzgoo, a sophomore student in NTCC’s Carroll Shelby Automotive Program.
