Peterson brought his animal variety show, Circus Chickendog, to the enjoyment of children and adults alike.

Don’t lose your cool while conserving energy this summer

The Electric Reliability Council of Texas (ERCOT) is requesting all Texans to conserve electric use this week due to a significant number of forced generation outages and potential record electric use in June. We are having a very busy summer. So many good things going on in our community and opportunities for new businesses. Downtown will be getting two new facelifts. The former Perkinson’s Jewelry will soon become an ice cream parlor and the building next door to it will become a “pocket park” where our community can have events, and a place to hang out over an ice cream while you are waiting for your movie to begin. If you have not met our new City Manager, Mr. Keith Whitfield stop by City Hall and say hello. He is hard at work to make things happen for Daingerfield, and we are so happy to be working with him.
