The Daingerfield Tigers are Bi-District Champions after knocking off Harmony, 50-12 on Nov. 11. The Tigers outscored Harmony in each half (28-6, 22-6) despite giving up an Eagle touchdown to open each half.

Dreams of a state championship were crushed for the Hughes Springs Mustangs on Nov. 12, as they fell to the New Waverly Bulldogs, 64-44 in the first round of the state playoffs.
The Northeast Texas Community College Rodeo team followed up the home Rodeo with a trip to South Louisiana to the McNeese State University Rodeo in Lake Charles, Louisiana October 29-30.
The Hughes Springs Mustangs traveled to Elysian Fields Nov. 5. Despite falling to the Yellow Jackets, 37-12, the Mustangs will advance to the playoffs as the third seed in the district.
