Tigers refresh, look to second half

The Daingerfield Tigers are rested and refreshed after their bye on Oct. 1. The Tigers will look to build on the 3-2 record, and hopefully march to another district title. After five games, the Tigers (3-2, 1-0) have put up a relatively balanced attack, with 992 yards rushing and 1096 yards through the air.
Lady Mustangs defeat Daingerfield in straight sets

The Hughes Springs Lady Mustangs traveled to Daingerfield Oct. 1, where they took on the Lady Tigers in District action. The Lady Mustangs came away with a straight-set win, 25-17, 25-15, 25-17.
Mustangs shut out Ore City, 54-0

The Hughes Springs Mustangs, winless in their first three games, have now rattled off back-to-back wins to open their District 11- 3A slate. A week after the Mustangs defeated New Diana by a score of 56-12, Hughes Springs was once again able to score over fifty points in a 54-0 shut-out of the Ore City Rebels.
