The Daingerfield Junior Boys and Girls track teams traveled to Gladewater March 3 to take part in the Junior Bear Relays. Despite limited practices due to weather, both the seventh and eighth grade girls’ teams placed fourth place in their divisions.
The Daingerfield Tiger varsity tennis team traveled to Edgewood March 3 with four players competing in single set matches.
The Daingerfield Tigers and Pewitt Brahmas met in a pick up game March 2, after both teams had their scheduled games changed due to weather. The Tigers traveled to Omaha, where they defeated the home squad, 14-1.
The Hughes Springs Mustang power lifters traveled to Atlanta Feb. 25 for the Atlanta Iron Meet of Champions. The Mustangs finished third overall with 13 total points.
The Paul Pewitt Brahma Powerlifters traveled to Maud for on last chance to qualify for Regional Powerlifting on Feb. 25. The Brahmas came home in seventh place behind Maud, Texarkana, Texas, Queen City, DeKalb, and Linden-Kildare.
