Northeast Texas Community College Baseball kicked off the season with a road series at Arkansas Rich Mountain on Thursday, winning game one of the series 9-6 before dropping game to Rich Mountain.
The Hughes Springs Mustang and Lady Mustang Powerlifting teams traveled to Elysian Fields Feb. 11. The girls team placed fourth, while the boys team placed first overall.
The Pewitt Lady Brahma and Brahma Powerlifters traveled to Winona Feb. 6 for the Pineywoods Winona Meet.
The Daingerfield Tigers and Pewitt Brahmas traveled to Gilmer Feb. 11 for the Gilmer Invitational. The Tigers finished fourth overall, while the Brahmas finished sixth in the competition.
The Daingerfield Tiger and Lady Tiger Tennis teams are off to a fast start, with varsity defeating Avinger, 7-4, Feb. 5. The teams then took on multiple opponents Feb. 9 in matches that were moved up due to inclement weather.
