Tigers nail Newton; Woodville up next in state quarterfinals

The Daingerfield Tigers (8-5) kept their season alive Friday, November 29, in Louisiana at Turpin Stadium on the campus of Northwestern University with a dominating 62-28 victory over Newton. It was the Tigers’ seventh straight win and second year in a row knocking the Eagles out of the playoffs. Newton finishes its season at 9-4.
