Tigers playoff run ends

Daingerfield’s 2024 football season came to a disappointing end on Friday night in Palestine as the Woodville Eagles shocked the Tigers, 407. Coach Davin Nelson’s squad finishes the season at 8-6 after opening the year 1-5. Woodville’s best season in its history will continue this week as the Eagles (12-2) face Tidehaven (12-2) in the state semifinals. The winner would advance to the Class 3A, Division 2 state championship next week to face the winner between Wall (131) and Gunter (12-2).
