The Daingerfield Tigers made a quick exit from the Class 3A, Division 1 basketball playoffs last week with an 82-37 loss to state-ranked Liberty-Eylau in bi-district. Coach Curtis Lewis’ Tigers end the season at 24-5.

The Daingerfield Tigers traveled to Jefferson back on Feb. 11 and claimed a 54-48 decision over the host Bulldogs to forge a tie for the District 13-3A championship as each team finished 9-1 in league play, having split during their district match-ups. Jefferson claimed a 75-62 in the first meeting.
