The Daingerfield Lady Tigers kicked off the 2021 volleyball season Tuesday, Aug. 10 when they traveled to Hawkins to battle the Lady Hawks. The Lady Tigers fell in both the JV and varsity matchups.
AUSTIN – The start of a new hunting season is right around the corner and the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department (TPWD) is reminding hunters and anglers that current year Texas hunting and fishing licenses (except the Year-from-Purchase All-Water Fishing Package) will expire at the end of August. New licenses for the 2021-22 season go on sale Aug. 15.
Our high school is transforming into the safe, loving, positive, uplifting place that we want it to become. Our staff, students, and community have voiced their excitement about this to our administration this week. One of the transformations that occurred this summer was the painting of our entrance hallway. We have taken the orange brick that was enclosed years ago in one of the updated renovations of our high school, and we have painted this white. This has brightened up our entrance way, and with the Tiger blue trim around our office windows, this has brought our school colors to the front entrance of our high school.
