The Daingerfield Tigers and the DeKalb Bears went into the locker room at the half with the Tigers holding a narrow two-point lead at 24-22, but the boys in blue came out strong after the intermission and outscored the visiting Bears 21-6 in the second half to earn a 45-28 district win last Friday night.
The Northeast Texas Community College Eagles Baseball team welcomed about 30 young athletes to campus last weekend for a fun-filled kids camp. Youth ages 5-12 had the opportunity to learn baseball fundamentals, practice their skills, and play alongside NTCC players.
The Daingerfield Tigers dropped their second season opener in a row as the visiting Gladewater Bears captured a 21-7 victory at Mickey Mayne Stadium on Thursday night. It was the sixth win for the Bears over the Tigers in the past eight games dating back to 2012.
